Drew joined RVCS in 2024 as Operations Specialist after being in underwriting on the carrier/company side where he developed extensive knowledge in general liability, energy, products & contractors, excess & general casualty, small business, management liability, errors & omissions, inland marine, cyber liability, and allied medical risks. Drew was also employed by a Richmond, VA based private cyber-security firm. Drew’s responsibilities at RVCS as Operations Specialist include client services, business development, providing support to management, assist and collaborate with financial reporting unit, serve as a liaison with administrative intake department, service operations, human resources/recruitment, and IT.
Drew is a 2023 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Political Science. Drew also holds a Cyber-Security, CSC degree and is currently enrolled in Vale School of Claims.
In 2021, Paul joined CEI-RVCS as the organization’s new President. Paul later became CEI-RVCS’ Chief Operating Officer in 2024. With over 34 years of multi-line claims management experience on both the U.S. Carrier and IA/TPA services side of the industry, Graf oversees all business growth, strategic development and operations of both entities. Paul is also responsible for expanding Independent Adjuster and TPA Service operations both nationally and internationally while increasing capacity for TPA services in both the U.S. domestic Property Casualty and International Lloyd’s of London Excess Surplus Lines marketplace. In addition, Graf has launched CEI/RVCS’s Subrogation Recovery Services, a new service division providing unique and highly successful Subrogation recovery services in all 50 states.
Prior to joining CEI/RVCS, Graf served as Vice-President Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Chief Operating Officer, and Senior Vice-President of two nationally recognized claims management firms that provided third party administrator, subrogation recovery, independent field adjustment and litigation management services. Graf also served in many capacities including various levels of management on the U.S. domestic carrier side for over 20 years filling important strategic managerial roles at National Home and Regional Office operations.
Graf’s management of RVCS’ industry leading IA, TPA, CAT Response and Subrogation Recovery services, and his strong network of talented TPA and IA examiners, perfectly complement the core services offered by CEI-RVCS. Leah joined RVCS in 2019 as a senior claims examiner and achieved the rank of Senior Vice-President in 2024. Prior to joining RVCS, Leah successfully managed various levels of litigated and non-litigated casualty claims for a large national insurance carrier for nearly 12 years. Leah oversees RVCS’ U.S. Casualty Claims and Lloyd’s of London Property & Casualty TPA Claim Divisions with specialized expertise in the areas of commercial property, homeowners, auto/general liability, BI/UM/UIM, transportation, inland marine, workers’ compensation, special investigations, and subrogation recovery services. Leah works collaboratively with RVCS’ management team and staff to exceedingly deliver superior claim services and business solutions to both our clients’ underwriting and claims/risk operations.
Leah earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Management and a Master’s Degree from Strayer University. Leah also has an Associates in Claims (AIC) designation and holds adjuster licenses in all required states.
Carlee continues to play a key role as one of RVCS’ highly experienced Administration Specialists since joining the firm in 2023. As Administration Specialist, Carlee is responsible for maintaining close communications with our clients and business partners to ensure RVCs’ management team, financial operations, marketing, field staff, human resources/recruitment, corporate communications and IT departments run smoothly. Carlee works closely with management and her administrative counterparts daily to ensure we successfully execute our operational servicing requirements effectively and timely. Carlee has been an outstanding addition to our administrative team. For the last 20 years, Carlee has held several positions of responsibility that include sales, accounting, administration, and management for several Fortune 100 & 500 companies.
Carlee completed General Studies at Virginia Western Community College.
Joan has been RVCS’ lead Senior Administration Specialist since joining the firm in 2015. Joan works closely with all departments within RVCS to ensure our management, financial, marketing, field staff, human resources/recruitment, corporate communications, and IT departments run smoothly. Joan’s position plays a vital role with the ongoing efficiency of our daily operations. Joan’s efforts at RVCS since her 2015 tenure have been instrumental in making us the company we are today. Prior to 2015, Joan held various positions of responsibility particularly in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, and administration for several Fortune 100 & 500 companies.
Joan earned her Associate’s Degree in Business & Accounting from Virginia Western Community College.
Ray has held the position of corporate Senior Claim Adjuster since joining RVCS in 2018. Prior to joining RVCS, Ray was a successful restoration and contracting business owner for over 25 years. After selling his two businesses, Ray went on to become an expert multi-line independent adjuster servicing both the states of South Carolina and Virginia. Ray’s striving for perfection, relentless discipline, and proactive sense of urgency on every claim he is involved proves why he is successful in his important role of senior claims adjuster. Ray’s commitment to excellence and delivery of our industry’s best practice standards makes him a true claim professional. Ray is a decorated U.S. Army veteran having toured several countries during his military service to keep our country safe. Ray is also a professionally trained martial artist/ self-defense/weapons expert and instructor having owned a martial arts academy for several years. Ray holds an extensive array of commercial construction, building, and insurance industry certifications coupled with multiple state adjuster licenses.
Sam has served as RVCS’ general and executive general adjuster since joining RVCS in 2007. Prior to RVCS, Sam worked for Allstate Insurance for 36 years where he held various roles of responsibility including Claims Manager, CAT Claims Manager, Senior Examiner, and Senior Adjuster. During Sam’s tenure at both Allstate and RVCS, Sam has been recognized for winning several customer service awards as a result of his hard work ethic and perseverance to best service insured claims. Sam has an extensive background handling all classes of business claims within the property & casualty lines. When catastrophe manager and an EGA/GA, Sam was responsible for overseeing operations and managing claims for the United States’ worst and most historical storms – Hurricane Hugo, Andrew, Katrina and Super Storm Sandy to name a few. Other areas of expertise include SIU (Special Investigations Unit) claims and the litigation management of high exposure cases through mediation/pre-trial settlement conferences. Sam works in close collaboration with RVCS’ corporate management team and operations to deliver a wide range of expert level claims service execution for our clients. Prior to Ryan joining forces with RVCS in 2018 to become one of the firm’s lead field adjusters, Ryan worked for Nationwide Insurance for over 11 years holding various roles of responsibility including claims representative, property field specialist, and claims examiner. Throughout Ryan’s 17+ year career at both Nationwide and RVCS, Ryan has handled a wide range of highly complex claims within the Commercial Property, Homeowners, Agricultural, Auto/General Liability, Trucking, Motor Truck Cargo, Transportation, Inland Marine, and Workers’ Compensation line of business. Ryan works in tandem with RVCS’ management team and operations to deliver a wide range of high-level claims service execution for our clients to effectuate successful claim solutions with desired outcomes. Ryan consistently delivers industry best practice standards when investigating, inspecting, evaluating, and negotiating associated property or casualty clams to exceed all client claim service objectives. Prior to joining RVCS, Matt worked for State Farm Insurance for 6 years holding various roles of responsibility including Claims Representative and Team Manager. Throughout Matt’s 12+ year career at both State Farm and RVCS, Matt has handled extensively complex claims within the Commercial Property, Homeowners, Habitational, Agricultural, Auto/General Liability, Trucking, Motor Truck Cargo, Transportation, Inland Marine, and Workers’ Compensation lines of business. Matt works in close collaboration with RVCS’ management team and operations to deliver a wide range of high-level claims service execution for our clients to effectuate successful claim solutions with desired outcomes. Since 2019, Brian has served as RVCS’ corporate senior appraiser. Prior to joining RVCS, Brian owned an auto appraisal firm for 9 years and was also a shop manager for a leading auto body business for 7 years. Brian works collaboratively with RVCS’ Vice President of Transportation on all facets of our commercial/personal auto claim & appraisal service unit. Brian also works in tandem with the Vice-President and several of RVCS’ partnered direct repair programs and shops to facilitate timely and quality appraisals, inspections, and estimates for our client’s insured claims. Brian conducts or manages appraisals, inspections, and estimates on heavy equipment, auto material damage, motor truck cargo, trucking and other transportation-casualty claim services for our national customer base. Brian brings a wealth of knowledge and specialized expertise to deliver high-level claims service execution to effectuate successful business solution outcomes and desired results in a timely fashion. Brian is an esteemed member of our corporate claims team.
Brian completed his studies in Civil Engineering, Surveying and Drafting at Bluefield State College. Brian also has a Technical Degree in Pre-Engineering from Mercer Technical Education Centers specializing in Computer Aided Drafting (CADD).
With over 35 years of property & casualty claims management experience, Charlie leads RVCS’ transportation claims division with specialized expertise in trucking, motor truck cargo, heavy equipment, material/physical damage, agricultural, auto/general liability, auto appraisal, and special investigations. Upon joining RVCS in 2015 as claims manager, Charlie was named Vice-President of Transportation Claims in 2024. Charlie previously held various positions of branch manager and multi-line general adjuster for a nationally recognized IA and TPA servicing firm for 16 years. Charlie was also owner of a regional claims servicing firm for 5 years. It is Charlie’s commitment to Excellence and his division’s successful execution of RVCS’ industry best practice standards that lead our transportation claim service division to produce desired results for our clients. Charlie serves as a key member of RVCS’ corporate leadership team going on 10 years.
Charlie received the highest level of education and certification at Vale Institute, the industry’s most renowned professional educational institution. Charlie completed various certifications with the Insurance Institute of America, The Institutes, CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) and completed undergraduate studies at Central Virginia Community College.
Marti has over 35 years of property & casualty claims management experience with nationally recognized insurance carriers and IA/TPA servicing firms. Since joining RVCS in 2012, Marti leads RVCS’ property claims division with specialized expertise in Commercial, Agriculture, Residential, and Habitational property claim services. Prior to being named RVCS’ Vice-President of Property Claims, over the span of Marti’s career she has held various positions of responsibility including claims manager, senior adjuster, property field adjuster, master claims representative, and multi-line general adjuster. Marti continues to lead RVCS property claims division to new heights through her strong work-ethic, proactive communication skills, proven leadership abilities, and commitment to delivering high level customer service, Marti consistently demonstrates the ability to bring business solutions to both our clients’ underwriting and claims/risk operations through her industry leading expertise and drive for results on all claims large or small. Marti has been a highly valued contributor and long-term resident of the Greater Roanoke and Lynchburg, VA communities.
